Nasr City Public Free Zone is one of the largest and oldest Egyptian Public Free Zones. It was established since 1973 behind El Wafaa and El Amal Association in the core of the Egyptian capital, 25 km from Cairo International Airport, to provide you with an integrated work environment for your project.

Nasr City Public Free Zone is located at the top of Mehwar Al-Shaheed (Martyr Axis) highway leading to the Ring Road around the Egyptian capital, which connects it to several maritime ports and the different governorates throughout the country.

The Zone is located at 25 km from Cairo International Airport, the largest central airport in Middle East and the Mediterranean, to serve the passenger traffic and shipping goods to various countries around the world. It is located at 125 km from Sokhna Hub Port on the International Maritime Road (Suez Canal) and the Red Sea to serve the trade activity from and to the Persian Gulf States, Southeast Asia, and Eastern and Southern African countries. It is located at 220 km from Alexandria Port on the Mediterranean coast to serve the trade activity from and to the EU Countries, United States, Canada and the Americas.

 

Surrounding environment

The location of Nasr City Public Free Zone, next to El Sefarat District in the core of the Egyptian capital, gives it the advantage of the availability of human cadres who have various types of qualification, training and skill, which enables your project to make use of those cadres at competitive prices. This has resulted in the occupancy of all spaces available for investment to establish new projects or for the horizontal expansion of its projects as a result of the growing demand by investors to establish their projects on it. However, this full occupancy did not prevent launching new projects through vertical expansion on the spaces on which the current projects in the Zone are established, which resulted in the development of project performance and doubling the size of its business.

 

Infrastructure

Nasr City Public Free Zone are supplied with an integrated network of utilities and infrastructure services, with a high level of efficiency, including networks of water and industrial wastewater, telephone network, high-speed international information network (Internet), a medium/low voltage power plant and an interior lighting network. Moreover, there are networks for connecting natural gas and internal roads, as well as the location of the Zone is surrounded by an external wall with guard towers.

Nasr City Public Free Zone has an integrated customs unit to provide your project with various services of customs clearance as soon as possible. In addition, there is a port security police unit to secure your project and its cargo within the Zone and an equipped extinguishing point to combat fire hazards, as well as branches of insurance and reinsurance companies next to the entrance of the Zone.

Projects established on Nasr City Public Free Zone have a strong network of logistics and banking service providers through branches of the sea and air shipping companies. In addition, there is a large number of national and foreign banks and their branches, and a large network of exchange, insurance and reinsurance companies widespread next to the Zone within Cairo to provide various services required for your project to exercise its business.

 

Investment Services

The city in which Nasr City Public Free Zone was established has the main and central investment services complex in the main building of the General Authority for Investment at Salah Salem Street. This complex is staffed by an administrative body, with a high level of qualification, competence and experience, to assist you, our dear investor, in completing the establishment procedures for your project and issuing work and residence permits for you and its staff in coordination with the relevant governmental bodies.
